Our mission is to create brighter futures for children and young people. We do this by providing fostering, residential and support services where children and young people can feel safe and cared for. We support them to make positive relationships which give them the confidence to succeed.

Children in care in London
The breadth of St Christopher’s services across inner and outer London means we can support young people to move between our services depending on their current needs. Through our strong partnerships, we pilot innovative projects that are changing the face of children’s social care in the UK, including CSE services and Staying Close projects.
Although we are the largest provider of residential children’s homes in London, we still have a community feel to our work. London is a big place and it’s easy for care leavers to feel lost. That’s why we keep in touch with young people once they move onto independence so they know someone is always there to support them. We invite them back to activities like our five-a-side football team, and they share their experiences with young people still in care. It’s a great learning experience for everyone involved.
