Festive fundraising appeal launched

We have launched our Christmas fundraising appeal.  We hope to raise £16,000 to help ensure children in care and young care leavers have the skills to thrive.

The appeal shines a spotlight on young people preparing to move from residential care to living independently and the support they offer to guide them into adulthood.  We want to ensure that young people have the skills and confidence to thrive.  To be as prepared as possible for the transition of leaving care.  They develop practical life skills such as cooking, shopping, budgeting, and problem-solving, communication, and self-awareness.  All transferable skills the young person can take along in the future.

With your help, we can continue to transform lives.  To change the narrative for young care leavers to build happy memories and resilience and help them with the job of being adults.

We know that this year especially, everything is more expensive, so we are so grateful that you can support our young people.  We use donations to make St Christopher’s homes unique places where young people can create memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Every donation to our Christmas Appeal will make a difference and help us ensure our young people feel safe, happy and loved – not just at Christmas, but every day. Find our more here about how you can support us.
